German company SRS Certification GmbH (hereinafter "SRS") has officially obtained authorization from International Swiss Bio Certification AG (ICB AG) to conduct BIOSUISSE ORGANIC testing and certification services in the pilot region of Turkey. This authorization marks SRS's formal entry into the high-end organic market access services sector in Switzerland.
Switzerland is truly the global leader in organic agriculture, consistently ranking first worldwide in both organic food market share and per capita consumption of organic products. Bio Suisse is the leading organization for organic farming in Switzerland, and its "Bud" label represents a standard that exceeds the minimum requirements set by EU regulations. Companies certified with this label may use the "Bud" mark on their products, thereby gaining significant brand value and consumer trust in both the Swiss and international premium markets, while meeting the certification requirements of major Swiss retailers and importers. ICB AG, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bio Suisse, is responsible for certifying foreign enterprises and has received official recognition from Switzerland.
This authorization from Bio Suisse represents a significant outcome of extensive discussions between SRS and Bio Suisse representatives during the 2026 Nuremberg International Organic Food Exhibition (BIOFACH 2026). The certification not only demonstrates high recognition of SRS's technical capabilities and quality management system but also substantially enhances its industry standing in global organic certification. With this authorization, SRS can further expand its portfolio of premium organic certification services, strengthen its ability to provide clients with comprehensive one-stop solutions for global market access, and contribute to standardizing and sustaining the organic supply chain.
SRS Certification GmbH holds international certifications including the EU Organic Certification (EU), USDA NOP Certification, Japan's JAS Certification, Global Good Agricultural Practices (GLOBAL GAP), and UK Organic Certification, and has been accredited by DAkkS. Additionally, its affiliated company SRS China has obtained certifications such as the China Organic Certification (GB/T 19630) and the China Good Agricultural Practice (CHINA GAP).
SRS provides customers with the BIOSUISSE ORGANIC organic certification, which can be obtained alongside standard organic certifications (under EU Regulation (EC) 2018/848 or equivalent standards).
